Installation of ECF100A Charcoal Filter
If you have purchased the (2) optional charcoal filters, it is a very easy installation. To install them, you have to remove the Spark trap. Then remove the inner filters. Install the two chart call modules by batting them up against the motor hole plates at back of the Filter plate. Please note. It is vital that the flat portion of the charcoal cassette is facing the filters. Otherwise, the air does not get a chance to expand before entering the motor and would only utilise a small portion of the charcoal. The size of the motor in that hole, there is an arrow on each cassette, which indicates the airflow direction and the side of the cassette that butts up against the Motors, this Arrow point has to be on the side, reinstall. The other big Filter install the filter plate and the Spark trap.
When the charcoal filter should be replaced?
The charcoal will have to be replaced when orders can be detected, coming out of the louvers on the two sides of the unit or the suction power becomes low.
